Technical Sales Representative

Mammoth Machine and Design is seeking a motivated technical sales champion. We are a diverse team of innovators looking for talented people who value integrity, informed decision-making, and collaboration that wants to be a part of our movement.

We are a company focused on innovation. We have developed a process using state of the are CNC manufacturing equipment to manufacture complex precision parts from any material with no documentation and no data. We call our service part-to-part manufacturing and we are quickly growing as industry leaders in MRO machined replacement parts. Primarily focused on power transmission and consumable components.

Our ideal candidate is someone with technical aptitude and strong sales skills who can develop long term relationships with new customers. We prefer candidates with a sales background in medical equipment, oil and gas, aerospace, food and beverage, or plastics manufacturing industries.


  • Prospect new business through cold calls, warm leads, and collaboration with sales team to exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas
  • Supports the close of sales by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment
  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence
  • Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
  • Update client information in the company CRM software
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical sales
  • Demonstrates talent at interacting effectively with all types of people, especially by phone
  • Projects a professional and helpful image that inspires confidence and trust
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Strong computer skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
